John Cena is on a roll, at least when it comes to his projects outside WWE. After the recent renewal of his television show American Grit, Cena co-hosted the 2016 Teen Choice Awards last night along with Victoria Justice.

The duo were great in their roles as hosts, and got into some crazy shenanigans throughout the night but the height of it was when Cena and Justice entered the stage as presidential nominees Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump respectively. Here’s a clip:

The duo, along with the help of comedian Keegan-Michael Key who played the role of outgoing president Barack Obama, asked the audience to vote for their choice for president, revealing that the winner would be revealed at the end of the show.

Spoiler alert, Hillary aka Cena won the voting. This wasn’t the only time politics was involved in the Teen Choice Awards this year, with the Teen Choice Awards partnering with Rock The Vote for the first time in order to encourage youngsters to register and vote.

As far as Cena is concerned, his attempts to branch out of wrestling into other forms of mainstream entertainment is going well for the time being and it looks like “the face that runs the place” will have a much more limited schedule in the WWE than was previously thought. It has been rumoured that Cena will also miss SmackDown Live’s first brand-exclusive pay-per-view, Backlash, in September.
