WWE News: John Cena posts cryptic tweet after loss to Undertaker
What's the story?
After a quick defeat in an unscheduled match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania, the WWE Universe is wondering what's next for John Cena.
Well, the 16-time World Champion has taken to social media, to post a rather cryptic and somber video in the past hour.
In case you didn't know...
After coming up short at every attempt to get into a match at WrestleMania, John Cena was at a loss for how he would fit in on 'The Grandest Stage of Them All'.
Unsuccessfully calling out The Undertaker for four weeks resulted in Cena spending WrestleMania with the fans - at least until a referee delivered a message to the former United States Champion that saw him sprint to the back.
After yet more confusion and a confrontation with Elias, 'The Deadman' eventually came out and answered the challenge - defeating John Cena in just 2 minutes, 45 seconds.
The heart of the matter
John Cena has taken to Twitter in the past hour to post a cryptic video - his only post since his loss to Undertaker on 'The Grandest Stage of Them All'.
The video features John Cena playing piano under somber lighting and, while Cena is known for trolling on Instagram, something about this seems a bit different about this one.
What's next?
Will we see Cena on Raw tonight? Only time will tell. Who knows what's next for the 16-time World Champion, after a recent run of losses left Cena pondering his future.
Author's take
Well, one bizarre rumor arising from this is that Undertaker has "broken" John Cena and he's gone all Matt Hardy on us. While I love that idea, it's pretty unlikely.
I think we're gearing towards Cena pondering his future before calling out Undertaker for one 'Last Ride' - putting his career on the line against the Deadman!
