WWE News: John Cena is ready to wrestle soon
It has been rumoured among the WWE universe for weeks that John Cena is cleared of his injury and is set to return soon. In a recent interview with Complex.com, John Cena confirmed the recent speculation about his injury, giving the WWE universe some news that it desperately wanted to hear.
The Cenation leader’s absence due to injury has hurt WWE more than anything else heading into WrestleMania 32. Lacking the potential star power to draw in viewers, WWE has struggled to maintain it’s ratings.
But it looks like the WWE’s problem might come to an end. During his interview with Complex.com, Cena confirmed that he has been cleared medically to start wrestling again.
“If you ask me today, I should’ve been back two weeks ago. I’ve logged almost 400 hours of physical therapy. I got 111 visits in 12 weeks time. I go every single second I can.”
Cena told while asked about his injury, hinting that he is as fit as any other wrestler on the roster. He also commented about his remarkable recovery after the injury which would have left other wrestlers on the bench for a longer period of time.
”People say I have a Wolverine-like style of recovery. I was given a nine month quota to come back and after three months I can tell you that I am ready to do anything asked of me possible. It’s a matter of when they call me.”
If one might remember, this is not the first time Cena has pulled off a remarkable recovery. Back in 2008, John Cena was sidelined due to a torn pectoral muscle injury and was speculated to return later in the year. But at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Cena returned early from the injury to a tremendous ovation from the crowd. Will Cena pull off the same? Will he be the shot in the arm WrestleMania 32 needs?
