WWE News: Kane holds the all-time record for most WWE Main Roster Programming wins ahead of John Cena
What's the story?
WWE's Kane has been around for a long time, and over that time he has recorded a large number of wins on the main roster in WWE. A fan on Reddit, who is famous for his statistical knowledge of WWE, published that Kane held the record for the most number of wins in WWE Main Roster Television Programming, just one victory ahead of John Cena.
In case you didn't know...
The "Big Red Demon" has been a part of WWE for very long. Before he was the Big Red Demon, he was the Big Scary Dentist. His total change in appearance definitely helped to increase the lifespan of his character, as he became the monster (no Braun is not the only monster in WWE) we all know and feared (read: loved).
Recently Kane returned to WWE in a fashion only he can. He emerged from under the ring, ripping through its surface, to attack Roman Reigns in his Steel Cage match against Braun Strowman.
Since then he has gone on to record a few victories on the main roster.
The heart of the matter
Kane's return to WWE programming and his subsequent victories against Finn Balor and Seth Rollins has helped him to gain back a record he long held. According to a report by a fan on Reddit, Kane now has the most number of victories on WWE Television and Pay-Per-View programming of all time.
He has 448 victories, which is just one ahead of Cena's record of 447. Kane looks like he is building towards a feud with Braun Strowman, and if that is indeed the case, then The Big Red Machine might just have to be happy with his 448 wins.
What's next?
Kane may be building to a feud with 'The Monster Among Men' Braun Strowman. If that is the case the two may feud anytime in the next two months.
For now, Kane is back and picking off his opponents one by one.
Author's take
Kane is one of the all-time greats in WWE, and his time there has seen him win a number of matches. What is noteworthy though, is that Cena is just one win away from his record, despite having debuted a whole five years after him.
