WWE News: Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows comment on making their return to WWE TV after a four-month absence
What's the story?
This week's episode of SmackDown Live featured the return of former Raw Tag Team Champions, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows making their much-awaited return to SmackDown Live for the first time in four months.
Shortly afterward, The Good Brothers took it to their official Twitter handle and reacted to their return to WWE TV for the first time in four months.
In case you didn't know...
After a highly successful run with New Japan Pro Wrestling, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows made their WWE debut in 2016 under the red brand of Monday Night Raw. Anderson and Gallows didn't exactly get off to a proper start in the WWE but in 2017, the former IWGP Tag Team Champions won their very first titles in the WWE when they captured the Raw Tag Titles.
After a brief run with AJ Styles as part of The Club and with Finn Balor as part of The Balor Club, Anderson and Gallows were drafted to SmackDown Live in 2018 as part of the Superstar Shake-up and reunited once again with former WWE Champion, AJ Styles, who by this point had already established himself as the hottest superstar on the blue brand.
The heart of the matter
This week's episode of SmackDown Live featured Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows making their highly awaited and shocking return to WWE TV for the first time in four months when The Good Brothers interrupted and laid out a challenge to former SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Usos.
This eventually led to a tag match between the two teams, however, before reaching a proper ending to the bout, SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Bar interrupted and made their way out to the ring and proceeded to attack all four men. But, that's when another popular trio in the form of Sanity made their return and laid out both The Usos and The Good Brothers.
Despite the patchy finish to their match, it does look like Anderson and Gallows were more than happy to make their return to Raw and this is what they stated on Twitter regarding their TV return:
What's next?
A potential four-way tag team match between The Bar, The Usos, Sanity, and The Good Brothers could very well be on the cards from here onward and might well be in store for Royal Rumble.
