What's the story?

WWE stars Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows were recently in a conversation with Chris Van Vliet and during the interview, the former Raw Tag Team Champions openly spoke about the abrupt ending of The Club and gave their thoughts on the recently inaugurated All Elite Wrestling promotion.

In case you didn't know...

Prior to signing with the WWE in 2016, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows were two of the top members of the legendary Japanese faction, Bullet Club.

During their reign as part of The BC and New Japan Pro Wrestling, Anderson and Gallows were considered one of the biggest tag teams' in New Japan and won the IWGP Tag Team Championships on three different occasions.

Following their arrival to the WWE in 2016, Gallows and Anderson formed The Club with their former BC stablemate AJ Styles, who also signed for the company at the very same time. The trio had a solid run which abruptly ended after a feud with John Cena, as Styles was drafted over to SmackDown Live.

On when The Club had ended:

When asked about the disruption of The Club, Karl Anderson had a pretty simple answer stating that when AJ Styles was moved over to SmackDown Live, WWE had decided to call it a day for The Club.

"When AJ Styles got drafted to SmackDown and the story stopped. There you go."

Luke Gallows, meanwhile, stated that The Club came to a screeching halt but did note the fact that the group could've continued only if they had got some proper screen time.

"It came to a screeching halt. Well, we could have continued, but you need some screen time, you know what I mean brother?"

Their thoughts on AEW:

When asked about his thoughts on the recently inaugurated AEW promotion, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson had all sort of nice things to say about their former Bullet Club stablemates The Young Bucks, who are AEW Vice Presidents along with Cody Rhodes.

"We're happy for our friends, we think those guys will do great. They've done great around the world. We wish we could have them here with us, but we wish them the best in their new endeavor."- Gallows stated.

Karl Anderson noted that he is happy for his friends, the entire Pro Wrestling industry, and hopes that everyone succeeds.

"Happy for our friends, happy for the industry and I hope everybody succeeds."
