WWE News: Kurt Angle claims he will wrestle again
What’s the story?
As reported by Wrestling News, WWE Raw General Manager Kurt Angle has claimed that he will wrestle again one day. Angle made the comments during a Q&A session with fans on his Facebook account, with the Olympic Gold Medallist expected to appear on Monday Night Raw in London.
In case you didn’t know...
Ever since it was announced that Kurt Angle would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, fans all around the world have been anticipating the in-ring return of the former world champion. As of right now, he has yet to wrestle during this current run, with some people choosing to believe that the company doesn’t want to clear him to compete.
The heart of the matter
During the aforementioned Q&A session, Angle answered a number of different questions and was surprisingly honest at times. When it came to the inevitable query about his in-ring future, this is what he had to say.
“Yes. I don’t know when, but I will wrestle again. It’s true!”

What’s next?
Angle will continue his duties as General Manager for the time being, with the most likely place for his return bout being at WrestleMania 34 next year in New Orleans. Obviously, there are a number of procedures involved, so keep an eye out over the next few months to see if Kurt starts training for a return.
Author’s take
We’re in two minds about this because while it would be great to see Angle return, we don’t want him to do something that he’ll regret from an in-ring standpoint. Sure there are several dream matches that we’d all love to witness, but the most important thing for everyone involved should be preserving the health of a true wrestling legend.
