WWE News: Kurt Angle confirms that he will not be returning for WWE draft
Recently, the social media has been buzzing with a lot of rumours regarding Kurt Angle’s return to WWE. Ever since the news about his conversation with Triple H broke out, speculations about a potential return, possibly during the draft, has spread like wildfire. Though Kurt tried unsuccessfully to clear out the air with his Facebook post few days ago, it just added fuel to the fire.
Recently, Kurt Angle spoke with Sports Illustrated about a potential WWE return and more. During the interview, Angle confirmed that he will not be returning to the WWE for the draft. however, he did state that a return to the WWE next year is a possibility.
“I had a talk with WWE. It’s confidential. I will not be returning for the draft. Possibly in the future, most likely next year, but that is not a guarantee. It was a loose conversation but I will be in touch with Triple H [Paul Levesque] in the future.”
Angle also opened up about his relationship with Vince McMahon. He had high praises for Vince and noted that he was like a father figure to him. He revealed that he admired the work ethic and drive of Vince and admitted that he was scared of Vince like he was afraid of his father. Angle also talked about his addiction and how he overcame it and more in the interview.
