What's the story?

Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins teamed up to take on The Bar in a WWE Raw Tag Team Championship match, on Monday Night Raw's Christmas broadcast. The result of the match saw Jordan and Seth defeat Sheamus and Cesaro to become the Tag Team Champions.

After the match, Kurt Angle came out to the ring to congratulate his son for the victory.

Cesaro took to Twitter to accuse Kurt Angle of nepotism, blaming him for The Bar losing the titles.

In case you didn't know...

Dean Ambrose is taking time off to recover from his injuries after he was written off the storyline last week following an attack by Samoa Joe. Dean's injury left Seth Rollins alone to take on The Bar.

Jordan was asking his 'father', Kurt Angle for an opportunity to prove himself for a long time. On last week's Raw, he teamed up with Ambrose and Rollins to take on The Bar and Samoa Joe. Ambrose's injury left a spot for Jason to grab. He grabbed it by teaming with Seth to face The Bar for the Tag Team Championships.

The heart of the matter

After the match was over, Kurt Angle came out to congratulate his 'son' and hugged him. Angle looked happy and proud of the result and raised the arms of Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins. He was emotional as they walked back up the ramp.

Watch Angle congratulate Jordan and Seth here:

Cesaro took to Twitter following the match and blamed Angle for ruining The Bar's Christmas, and accused him of favouring his 'son' Jason Jordan, unfairly.

What's next?

The Bar will look to get their titles back and may cash in their rematch soon, perhaps at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

Author's take

It was not expected by the fans, that Jordan and Seth would win the WWE Raw Tag Team Titles. Dean Ambrose will be out with injury for a few months, and this gives Seth something to do heading into Wrestlemania.
