WWE News: Kurt Angle reveals what's missing in Jason Jordan

What's the X-factor missing in Kurt Angle's son?
What's the X-factor missing in Kurt Angle's son?

What's the story?

RAW General Manager and WWE Hall of Famer, Kurt Angle, was interviewed by the Miami Herald with regard to WWE's new 2K18 game. Angle touched on a lot of topics during the course of the interview, most notably his on-screen son.

He revealed that the only thing keeping Jordan back was the former Indiana University standout's shyness in front on the camera. However, Angle also added that he expected Jordan to be a world champion someday.

In case you didn't know...

Jason Jordan was revealed as Kurt Angle's on-screen son after a drawn out story line where the Olympic Gold Medalist teased that a scandal was in the works.

The storyline has not really gone anywhere since then, except for the fact that Jordan is viewed as a singles performer now. Could it be because of a missing component in Jordan's repertoire?

The heart of the matter

Angle has the utmost belief in Jordan but feels that his shyness often holds him back.

I tell him he needs to take chances. Jason can be a little shy. However, when you see him get in the ring, you realize he is not shy. When he is on camera talking, I need him to pull out more emotion.

Angle, however, maintained that Jordan had a prosperous career ahead of him. He feels that in due time his kayfabe son, Jason Jordan, will be a world champion.

What's next?

We're ardently waiting for the next chapter in the Jordan-Angle story because so far it's been a dud. Let's hope that something major transpires on RAW, very soon.

Author's take

Jason Jordan is not ready for the massive burden that was entrusted to him, and that could be the reason that WWE has not pushed him like they should have. He's a great in-ring talent, but not world champion material yet, I feel. The father-son storyline too seems rather hastily put together.
