WWE News: Lana Not Happy With Her Exclusion From Money in the Bank Ladder Match
What's the story?
WWE announced the women's Money in the Bank ladder match participants this week. Lana did not get an opportunity to represent Smackdown's roster in the match, which she didn't like and went to Twitter to express her disappointment and how "salty" she is about it.
In case you didn't know...
Lana made her debut in WWE alongside Rusev in 2014. Initially used as a manager, she has made constant progress in her in-ring skills and has been part of the WWE women's Royal Rumble as well as women's Money In The Bank. She last competed in the Women's Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 35 but did not win.
Money in the Bank show is scheduled for May 19, which will feature series of matches including Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match for the briefcase. Ember Moon, Bayley, Carmella, and Mandy Rose will represent Smackdown's roster in the match.
The heart of the matter
After the participants for the women's Money in the Bank ladder match was announced on this week's Smackdown Live, Lana took to Twitter to post a message on how she's "salty" about not being part of it.
She had also sent a tweet on Monday expressing her frustration. It seems like she is not really happy with her position in the company but is still hanging in and trying to make of the opportunities she is getting at the moment.
What's next?
It's been a while since Lana has been used in a proper storyline. Right now, she is accompanying Rusev and Nakamura to the ring for their matches. Since the Blue brand is heavily stocked with more talented women's wrestlers at the moment, she may have to wait a little longer before she gets an opportunity at the top.
