WWE News: Linda McMahon on her involvement with the WWE and her family
Linda McMahon was one of the babyfaces in the McMahon family during the in-ring family feuds with her husband Vince McMahon. Playing a role of an innocent wife, she would often be abused and cheated on by Vince. But now she shares her life outside the ring and her involvement with the WWE.
During an interview with Sports Illustrated Extra Mustard, she reveals that her involvement with the WWE shifting to PG Era was minimal. Having been with the WWE for quite a long time she admits that the transformation from Attitude to Parental Guidance Era was made because of the demands of sponsors, and it was a business decision that changed the outlook of the WWE.
Later everything changed into a family friendly era that was far different from the Attitude Era product, which was more edgier.
When asked if she has ever met anyone who is even slightly similar to her husband she admits not to have met. Recalling her old days, she says that her husband was a local badass and a shrewd businessman, and credits her husband for being smart. Linda admits that the bad boy aspect of Vince was incredibly appealing to her and reveals that she fell for him despite being a honors student and civic leader in her hometown.
Being married to the owner of WWE, Linda admits that it definitely influences the kids. Linda clears any doubts on Stephanie McMahon being aggressive in her real life. According to her, she has a precious daughter who is a wonderful mother to her kids, professionally accomplished and also respected by many.
