WWE News: Lots of fans leave the arena before 205 Live
The Smackdown Live and 205 Live tapings took place at the Colonial Life Arena in Columbus, SC. According to many fans in attendance, a huge chunk of the audience left after Smackdown Live, right before 205 Live.
To everyone wondering why the crowd is quiet, it's because most of them went are invisible. #205Live #SDLive pic.twitter.com/1fN6Ygymzu

Those in attendance also stated that the security was busy shuffling around the remaining crowd to make sure that the arena looked full for the taping. If you notice in the video of the main event below, you can see that the upper rows have no light shined upon them, and the camera focuses primarily on the lower rows
This was one of WWE’s primary concerns for 205 Live, according to All Wrestling News. If this becomes a trend in the other cities, it won’t be surprising to see 205 be taped before Smackdown Live, or the show going on air before Smackdown Live does.

While the crowd generally did come off as silent, they seemed to have woken up for The Brian Kendrick vs Rich Swann in the main event and were well behind the new Cruiserweight Champion.

There were good reactions given to the debuting Jack Gallagher during his match against Ariya Daivari as well. It will be interesting to see how the coming cities over the next few weeks (and months) react to the Cruiserweights.
205 Live is a platform for the Cruiserweights to recreate the magic of the Cruiserweight Classic.
For the CWC, the Full Sail crowd did play a good part of it. Perhaps the most memorable chant of the tournament was when they chanted “Please sign Cedric” at the defeated Cedric Alexander, which even prompted Triple H to come out and acknowledge it.
