WWE News: Mark Henry gives some advice to Finn Balor
What’s the story?
WWE veteran Mark Henry was recently a guest on Busted Open Radio where he was in conversation with Dave Lagreca and Bully Ray. Henry spoke about a host of wrestling related topics and gave his take on the current WWE stars, including the leader of the Balor Club, Finn Balor.
In case you didn’t know…
Several reports recently flooded the internet that suggested that former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry had earlier this month, announced his retirement from Pro Wrestling. Henry, 46, is a WWE veteran who made his debut during the attitude era as part of the legendary faction called Nation of Domination, which also consisted the likes of Ron Simmons, The Rock, Owen Hart and more.
However, Henry has now confirmed the news that he isn’t hanging up his boots just yet and has instead signed an “Ambassadors” deal with WWE.
The heart of the matter
During his talk with Busted Open Radio, Mark Henry praised the likes of current Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns and former WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor as well. The former World Champion stated that he loves to witness the in-ring actions of Reigns, who according to Henry is a tough guy and expresses himself very well inside the squared circle.
However, Mark Henry, in particular, claimed that he is excited to see what’s next for former NXT Champion Finn Balor, who Henry wants to see in a much more prominent role in the WWE. The former ECW World Champion also thinks that Balor needs to be a lot more ambitious and needs to believe himself to the point where it’s real.
“As far as someone that when they come on the TV, I really want to watch what happens next: Finn Balor.”- Mark Henry stated.
What’s next?
Fans are currently not sure when they are going to see the legend of Mark Henry compete in a WWE ring again, however, Henry is now scheduled to make an appearance at the upcoming Raw 25th Anniversary episode.
Author’s Take
I think Mark Henry is completely right about this situation that has been surrounding Finn Balor as of lately, but, on the other hand, we can certainly expect to witness the Balor Club cause a lot of chaos in through the entire Monday Night Raw roster.
