What’s the story?

In an interview with The Times Record News, Matt Hardy opened up on working with his fellow RAW Superstars.

Expounding on a few of his co-performers on the WWE’s RAW brand, Hardy had words of high praise for Samoa Joe and The Miz. Hardy also spoke about Roman Reigns being extremely polarizing in WWE.

In case you didn’t know…

Matt Hardy and his brother Jeff returned to the WWE at Wrestlemania 33 in April of 2017.

While Jeff is currently on the shelf due to an injury, Matt continues to compete on the WWE’s RAW brand.

The heart of the matter

Prior to Samoa Joe’s injury, he was scheduled to compete in a Triple Threat Match against Roman Reigns and The Miz for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at this weekend’s house show in Wichita Falls, Texas. Matt expounded on what he called a fantastic matchup; stating—

“You have three amazingly different and unique personalities. Roman Reigns is probably the most polarizing guy in the history of the WWE. Fans either love him or hate him. Samoa Joe is typically a bad guy but has a loyal cult following, because he is such a legit badass.”

Furthermore, Hardy elucidated that The Miz is a real wrestling star who followed his dream, made it to the WWE and became a top-tier Superstar. Hardy added that The Miz is quite arrogant and conceited but very good, nonetheless.

What’s next?

The Triple Threat Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship will take place at WWE’s January 13th live event at the Kay Yeager Coliseum in Wichita Falls, Texas, as Roman Reigns defends the title against The Miz and another Superstar who’s yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, ‘Woken’ Matt Hardy is considerably busy feuding with ‘The Eater of Worlds’ Bray Wyatt.

Author’s take

It’s hard to disagree with Matt’s take on Samoa Joe, The Miz and Roman Reigns.

Honestly speaking, while Reigns may be hated by most hardcore professional wrestling fans, he is still loved by the millions and millions of fans the world over…including legions of his fans in the country of colours.
