What’s the story?

The WWE has posted a video on its official YouTube channel, which depicts “Woken” Matt Hardy expound upon “The Sacred Land of Deletion”.

Hardy introduces Bray Wyatt to “The Sacred Land of Deletion” aka “The Hardy Compound”, while touching upon several key elements of the same.

In case you didn’t know…

Matt Hardy popularized his “Broken” gimmick in Impact Wrestling back in 2016, by successfully depicting his Broken persona that has him speak with a strange accent and mouth seemingly absurd statements while in character.

Fast-forward to the here & now, and Hardy owns the IP (Intellectual Property) rights to the Broken gimmick and portrays the same as “Woken” Matt Hardy in the WWE.

The heart of the matter

Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt have been engaged in a feud over the past several weeks, with the former teasing a special match against Wyatt at the Hardy Compound.

The Ultimate Deletion Match—one that’s expected to serve as the conclusion of the aforementioned feud—was taped a few days ago at the Hardy Compound, with referee Shawn Bennett officiating the matchup, and the action set to air on tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW.

The latest video posted by the WWE about Matt Hardy has “Woken” Matt detail the great elements of “The Sacred Land of Deletion” while strolling alongside his son King Maxel.

Furthermore, Hardy added that every area of the Hardy Compound is magic, including a few notable elements such as—The Fountain of Vitality, The Lawn of Obsolete Men, The Lake of Reincarnation, and The Dilapidated City. Hardy asserted that the only thing separating Bray Wyatt from his Ultimate Deletion is the gate to the Hardy Compound—

What’s next?

The Ultimate Deletion Match between Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt airs on tonight’s edition of RAW.

The vast majority of professional wrestling experts believe that the WWE plans on ending the feud between Hardy and Wyatt, following tonight’s match.

Well, Matt Hardy never ceases to amaze, and his Woken/Broken self is on another level—particularly when it comes to creativity and spontaneity in the business today.
