WWE News: Matt Hardy posts a photo of his surprising physical transformation
What's the story?
The future of Matt Hardy has been a topic of constant speculation as his contract reportedly expires in the first week of March.
The Woken One, though, has been putting in the hours in the gym and looks to be in the best shape of his life if his recent Instagram post is anything to go by.
In case you didn't know...
Hardy has been missing from WWE TV for quite some time now and has been busy recuperating from various injuries that he accumulated as a result of wrestling for almost 25 years. The 3-Time Raw Tag Team Champion has previously teased calling time on his career but later backtracked on his earlier statements.
As things stand, Hardy looks ten years younger and is gearing up for a return to the squared circle. However, could it happen outside the WWE?
The heart of the Matter
Hardy had previously posted a tweet in January revealing his efforts of getting back into the best shape of his life. He admitted to feeling the lightest he'd ever been and sounded optimistic about having one final run as a regular competitor.
The 44-year-old future WWE Hall of Famer took to his Instagram handle and unveiled a new photo of his impressive physical transformation. He thanked his trainers, kids and of course his chief, dietitian and wife, Reby Hardy. The Broken One looks ripped, check it out:
What's next?
Hardy is one of the most active WWE Superstars on social media and in recent weeks, has confirmed that he is indeed ready to return to in-ring action. The teasers keep coming in thick and fast from his side and it wasn't just limited to the confines of the WWE.
Matt has openly stated that he would have no problems on working outside the WWE once his contract expires on March 4th, 2019. All Elite Wrestling would love to get the veteran on board but we're sure Vince McMahon would somehow manage to convince Hardy into renewing his contract.
