What’s the story?

Matt Hardy has taken to social media, posting a lengthy message directed toward every social media user, explaining the immense power and responsibility that comes along with having a platform to voice one’s views & opinions.

Apparently, one of his carry-bags was flagged by the scanner and the suspicious commodity turned out to be nothing more than a protein bar, following which Hardy went through a pat-down and complete luggage check.

Additionally, Matt also underwent a full-body screening and is said to have been questioned by the TSA officer, with the entire process being considerably time-consuming.

The heart of the matter

Speaking of his aforementioned airport encounter with security, Matt explained that he could’ve posted a lengthy rant on social media against them and disparaged their work in public; however, such an act would’ve led to millions and millions of people feeling nothing more than negativity and hatred.

He added that everyone, including the President of the United States of America, has an extremely powerful medium to voice their opinions — the internet— and that they shouldn't abuse that platform without thinking.

Furthermore, he explained that we ought to create unity, leave our ego behind in order to influence the world positively.

What’s next?

Matt Hardy presently performs for the WWE’s red brand.

His run alongside brother Jeff Hardy in the Tag Team division has come to a temporary halt, owing to the latter's shoulder injury.

Matt Hardy is spot-on in his analysis and message to the millions and millions of people in the world.

Let’s spread positivity and good vibes rather than using the internet as a medium to further hateful agendas or petty vendettas.
