What’s the story?

In an interview with Planeta Wrestling, Mick Foley opened up on a myriad of topics including the favorite moments of his career.

Additionally, Foley asserted that he’d love to see WWE veteran Al Snow return at the 25th-anniversary edition of Monday Night RAW.

In case you didn’t know…

Mick Foley and Al Snow are considered by several fans and experts alike as hardcore professional wrestling legends.

Foley is also widely respected for the role he played as a top Superstar for the WWE against WCW during the Monday night rating wars between the two promotions.

The heart of the matter

Mick Foley recalled his personal favorite moments over the course of his long and storied career, stating that number-1 would be his first WWE Championship victory against The Rock, followed by a wild match he wrestled with ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin in 1996.

Furthermore, Foley also explained that a relatively strange, recent moment which occupies the number-3 spot of his favorite ones in his career, is being fired by Stephanie McMahon on RAW—something that he says gave him a ‘great creative rush’. Foley also expounded upon which WWE legend he’d like to see at the 25th-anniversary edition of RAW—

“I imagine there's gonna be many legends back there. I'd like to see Al Snow back…I'm not sure if Al qualifies as a legend, but I'd like to see Al Snow return to Monday Night Raw."

What’s next?

The 25th anniversary special edition of Monday Night RAW will take place on January 22nd, and air from both the Barclays Center in Brooklyn as well as the original home of RAW, the Manhattan Center Grand Ballroom.

Several WWE legends including The Undertaker, Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross are set to appear at the milestone event. However, neither Foley nor Snow have been confirmed to be appearing at the event.

Author’s take

Having Al Snow and Mick Foley at the event would be great.

Hats off to Mr. Vincent Kennedy McMahon for crafting such as a wonderful product for sports-entertainment fans worldwide.

Show-business much like any other occupation is a challenging field—something in which longevity and a continual tenure at the top is incredibly difficult to achieve. Besides, the WWE seems to have started off its year on a great note, and here’s hoping the WWE Universe gets many more years of RAW.
