WWE News: Mickie James posts sad tweet on not being a part of WrestleMania 35
What's the story?
Former WWE Women's Champion Mickie James recently replied to Dash Wilder's tweet on The Revival probably facing Mojo Rawley and Rob Gronkowski at WrestleMania 35.
James replied by stating that it's better than not working WrestleMania.
In case you didn't know. . .
Mickie James is one of the most decorated women in the history of WWE. She debuted in the company with a unique character of a crazy fan who was obsessed with Trish Stratus. Mickie went on to defeat Stratus at WrestleMania 22 to win the Women's Title.
After a brief stint in TNA, James came back to WWE and began working in NXT. She later came up to the main roster and became Alexa Bliss' sidekick. She went on to compete in this year's Women's Royal Rumble match and lasted 11 minutes before being eliminated by Tamina.
James and Bliss lost to Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka in a qualifying match for the first ever Women's Tag Team Title Elimination Chamber match.
It has been a while since we last saw Mickie James. She isn't being featured on TV as of late, and this latest tweet of hers might be a sign that we won't be seeing James at this year's WrestleMania.
The heart of the matter
Mickie James replied to Dash Wilder's tweet, and she doesn't seem to be in good spirits at all if her tweet is any indication.
What's next?
Amidst WWE's huge announcement on women headlining The Show of Shows for the very first time in history, Mickie James' tweet hits right in the feels.
James has had an incredible career that's going to give her a Hall of Fame induction someday, but her dejection on not being a part of the greatest wrestling show on Earth is understandable.
