From the WWE Rumor Mill: More news on Breezeango's possible mystery team

They
Hot pursuit

What's the story?

Breezango has been hot on the tail of the Uggos who trashed their office for a while now. The Fashion Files have become a fan favourite segment in the process. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter sheds some light on who they might find at the end of their adventure.

In case you didn't know...

Tyler Breeze was one of the hottest prospects from NXT. Many likened him to a young Shawn Michaels not just because his gimmick was similar but because he could also sell like a pro. But when Breeze was brought up to WWE's main roster he quickly became an enhancement talent.

Fandango was a Superstar in the making when he won the fourth season of NXT as Johnny Curtis. After being repackaged into Fandango he teased the WWE Universe with his debut match for weeks until he faced Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 29 and Dango won. But WWE Creative soon seemed to lose interest in Fandango and his dancing gimmick.

After some clever manoeuvring Breeze and Dango were paired together and given a Fashion Police gimmick. It soon took off and became a fan favorite due to their unbelievable commitment to the gimmick.

Every week on SmackDown Live "The Fashion Files" featured Breezango as they were hot on the trail of the Uggos who trashed their detective office and murdered their stick horsey, Tully. They've been doing these segments for months now which has become a fan favorite.

The heart of the matter

Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Primo is ready to come back from knee surgery any time now. Epico has been kept off television while his cousin recuperated but he's been working house shows.

It's noted that it would be plausible to believe The Colons might be Breezango's mystery team that they've been looking for this whole time.

It was also believed for a time that the mystery team would be Luke Harper and Erick Rowan but so far that hasn't happened yet either.

What's next?

Breezango will continue to be one of the best parts of Tuesday nights. The Fashion Files are an amazing piece of business which will go down in WWE history when listing the greatest running segments of all time.

It might only be a matter of time before their mystery team is revealed. But they could always just keep looking for clues for the remainder of their careers.

Author's take

I can't get enough of Tyler Breeze and Fandango. It's amazing how they were able to make chicken salad out of this gimmick as they continue to entertain on a weekly basis. Hopefully, when all is said and done both of these guys will be able to maintain a constant presence on the WWE main roster for years to come.
