What's the story?

Now that the go-home shows of Raw and SmackDown Live are behind us, there are no more official stops on the road to the Greatest Royal Rumble.

With the event just two days away, some videos have emerged online of the stage and set-up at King Abdullah Sports Stadium, and it looks magnificent!

In case you didn’t know…

A couple of months ago, WWE announced that there would be a 50-man Royal Rumble match happening at a special event in Saudi Arabia. In the weeks that followed, the event has shaped up to be one of the biggest in recent WWE history.

There are ten matches already announced for the event, with seven Championships on the line and even a rare appearance by The Undertaker, where he will take on Rusev in a Casket Match.

The heart of the matter

We are just two days away from the event and some videos have emerged online of the stage set-up of the Greatest Royal Rumble. To say that the stage looks amazing would be an understatement, as you can see for yourself below. Thanks to Wrestling Inc. for the videos.

That stage 🤭🔥

As can be seen, the set-up is almost complete and we have to say, it is definitely comparable to the extravagant WrestleMania sets over the years. It looks like WWE is pulling out all the stops to make the event one of the biggest in WWE history.

The stadium itself is huge with a seating capacity of more than 62,000. Few reports suggest that all tickets have already been sold out, and the stadium will be at full capacity for the event.

What's next?

The Greatest Royal Rumble will be Live on the WWE Network this Friday, airing from the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, Jeddah Saudi Arabia. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for live coverage of the event.

Author's take

The match card is loaded and the stage is set. The event is definitely a must-watch for all WWE fans. Who knows, this event might actually end up topping WrestleMania?
