WWE News: New writers in demand for Creative
– The WWE has been a shadow of its former self in recent times. From the wicked promos by the Rock to the Austin 3:16 of the Attitude Era, WWE seems like it has irrecoverably fallen from grace.
From The Ruthless Aggression Era where stars such as Edge, Jeff Hardy and the others put their bodies on the line, the WWE have definitely taken a much milder route in the past half decade. Nonetheless, their fortunes seem to be turning in the past few months with stars such as Nakamura and Styles joining the ever talented roster of the WWE.
The creative team has taken a major portion of the blame by the fans for not providing good storylines. People have also been unhappy with the inconsistent booking of some of the superstars such as Bray Wyatt, Cesaro and others. The most heat received from the fans is by Roman Reigns who is pushed by Creative to the heavens and beyond without any change in the character. The fans are not unhappy with Reigns rather than the way he is booked.
The WWE recently released an advertisement about hiring temporary writers for the creative team. This seems to be a desperate move as WWE might be looking for some fresh ideas. This shows that the regular creative team have been stagnant which is seen by the recycled storylines that they have been putting up for the past year.
