What’s the story?

Noelle Foley has taken to social media to issue her reaction to the Hell in a Cell matchups that took place this past Sunday at the PPV of the same name.

In reference to her father, Mick Foley’s (Mankind), legendary Hell in a Cell match against the Undertaker back in 1998, Noelle asserted her relief at not being able to remember any of the violent spots during the match.

Noelle also gave huge props to the Usos vs New Day Hell in a Cell match that saw Jimmy & Jey Uso win the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

In case you didn’t know…

Mick Foley wrestled as Mankind, competing against the Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell matchup at the King of the Ring PPV in 1998.

In what is widely regarded as one of the most dangerous matches to have ever taken place in professional wrestling history, Mankind was thrown by the Deadman from atop the cage onto the Spanish announce table. In addition to this, Mankind took a chokeslam on top of the cage, causing the panels to give way and sending him crashing to the ring below.

The heart of the matter

Noelle Foley started off by heaping praise on the Usos and the New Day, hailing the quality of the matchup and congratulating the blue brand’s new Tag Team Champions.

Furthermore, Noelle administered her army of followers a rather healthy dose of nostalgia by referencing her father’s aforementioned Hell in a Cell bout against the Undertaker, stating that she didn't remember a single moment from the match and that she couldn’t possibly handle watching her father take those brutal bumps.

Author’s take

Mankind vs the Undertaker shall forever live on in the memories of pro-wrestling fans.

Speaking of which, my hat is off to Shane McMahon for taking such insane risks, at his age nonetheless.
