WWE News: NXT Superstars reveal their childhood wrestling crushes
What's the story?
WWE.com uploaded a very interesting video in which those in the NXT Performance Center revealed their childhood WWE crushes. Among those who revealed their puppy loves were Liv Morgan, Dan Matha, Ruby Riot, Abbey Laith, Roderick Strong, and The Street Profits.
Growing up as WWE fans, they revealed which Superstars and Divas made their hearts flutter. You may be surprised by some of their picks!
In case you didn't know...
Most superstars in the Performance Center right now are lifelong WWE fans, and it should come as no surprise that they had crushes in the roster, growing up.
WWE Superstars are larger than life personalities, like movie stars or rock stars, and they're guaranteed to tickle the fancy of certain aspiring superstars. Let's see who these NXT superstars had their eyes on, then!
The heart of the matter
Liv Morgan blushed when asked the question, and revealed sheepishly that she had a crush on the 'Doctor of Thuganomics', John Cena. The Street Profits were in a mood for trolling, and they named The Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young as the women they fancied.
Ruby Riot picked Stone Cold Steve Austin and Razor Ramon, while Roderick Strong did not skip a beat as he picked Molly Holly. Dan Matha and Demetrius Bronson both mentioned Stacy Kiebler, especially because of her legs, we suppose. Check out the video in question. It is a lot of fun to watch!
What's next?
It'll be hilarious if Liv Morgan comes face to face with John Cena, after revealing that she had a big crush on him, as a child. Expect WWE to definitely pull a stunt like this, and film it for our benefit too.
Author's take
This was a fun video to watch for fans. Kudos to WWE.com for putting up such exciting videos, so that we get to know the next generation of stars better.
I never had a childhood crush on any WWE superstar growing up, because they all pale in comparison to The Goddess, Alexa Bliss.
