WWE News: More Superstars other than Enzo also suffering from flu
What's the story?
As per a report from Wrestling Inc, Even though Enzo Amore was the only one sent back home from RAW due to not being well, many other superstars are also facing flu-like symptoms.
In case you didn't know...
Enzo Amore is the Cruiserweight Champion and has held the belt since WWE No Mercy when he defeated Neville for it.
Enzo was supposed to defend his Championship against Cedric Alexander on the January 1st edition of RAW but was unable to do so due to suffering from influenza.
Even though Enzo had been hospitalised on the morning of 1st January, he still showed up at RAW in order to compete but was turned back by the management given how bad his condition was.
Enzo left the emergency room and arrived at the RAW venue, only to be told that he will not be competing by the trainers and officials.
Due to his illness, Enzo will also not be able to participate in the upcoming WWE Mixed Match Tournament on Facebook.
The heart of the matter
Although Enzo seemed to be the only Superstar to be in such a bad condition that the officials had to send him back, it seems that other Superstars on the roster may also be affected by the flu.
It is not clear at this time as to who these Superstars are and how serious their condition is. We can only hope that it is not very bad and they are able to continue competing, unlike Enzo.
What's next?
Enzo is set to defend his championship against Cedric Alexander, but only time will tell if he is a condition to do so by next week's RAW.
Author's note
I think it is extremely commendable that even while not feeling well and being hospitalized, Enzo showed up at work to his job. He has shown a lot of personality and regardless of how you feel about his in-ring abilities, he has shown that he is a true Superstar!
It will also be seen if any other Superstars will be missing RAW next week due to the flu.
