WWE News: Owen Hart used a cucumber as a foreign object in a match against The Undertaker

On the latest episode of the ‘Something to Wrestle With’ podcast, Bruce Prichard recalled a backstage story which involved the late Owen Hart pulling a prank on The Undertaker.
In case you didn’t know...
For those of you that don’t know, The Undertaker is scared of cucumbers. The Deadman apparently does not like the how they look, feel or taste.
Apparently, Owen Hart is not the only one that decided to get a laugh out of The Phenom’s phobia. Paul Bearer once said that he filled The Undertaker’s hat with cucumbers. Once The Deadman found out, he almost vomited.
The heart of the matter
The latest episode of Bruce Prichard’s podcast is dedicated to Owen Hart. Prichard shared some great stories about how Owen used to pull off pranks backstage, and one notable story among the ones that the former Brother Love shared was one which involved The Undertaker.

During one of his matches with The Undertaker, Owen stuffed a cucumber into his tights so that he could use it as a foreign object to attack The Phenom. Owen went on to use it during the match and according to Prichard, The Undertaker struggled to maintain kayfabe and not show his fear for cucumbers.
‘Taker was reportedly furious with Owen for the prank, but that did not stop the notorious prankster. The King of Harts continued to take advantage of ‘Taker’s fear of Cucumbers and even used to hide them in The Phenom's Ice Tea.
What’s next?
The Undertaker has built up a legacy that will last forever, and his fear of cucumbers is not going to change this. In fact, a good portion of the fans already knew about this, and Prichard’s new revelation will be a feel good story.

A podcast episode dedicated to the King of Harts, Owen Hart, was bound to have excellent stories. Owen was known for such pranks and we’ve heard a lot of similar stories from other wrestlers as well. It once again underlines why everyone loves and misses Owen so much.
