Paige seems primed to make WWE her house in 2018

What’s the story?

Paige has taken to social media so as to reflect on the past year of her life.

Addressing the same, Paige insinuated that she’s brought about a few changes in her life over the past year, which in turn has made a positive difference in her life.

In case you didn’t know…

Paige competed in the sport of professional wrestling since her teenage days, and subsequently went on to achieve tremendous success in the WWE.

However, Paige had been suffering from serious neck injury issues since 2016 which kept her on the shelf, until she made her in-ring return late last year.

Paige sustained a career-ending neck injury at the hands of Sasha Banks at a WWE live event in late-2017, and in the ensuing days several pro-wrestling experts noted that her in-ring career may be over due to the injury.

The heart of the matter

Paige announced her retirement from in-ring competition earlier this month and was then accorded the role of SmackDown Live’s General Manager.

One ought to note that Paige was involved in a few altercations last year with her then-fiancée, former WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio—which, in addition to her being victimized in a photo/video hacking crime, is said to have adversely affected her over the past year-and-a-half—something which she recently discussed in detail on Lillian Garcia’s podcast.

Nevertheless, Paige separated from Del Rio late last year, besides also openly calling out internet trolls who’d been targeting her regarding her leaked photos/videos. Paige has now reiterated the changes in her life over the past year; with her latest Instagram post stating—

"I've posted this before, but I'm feeling so happy and content with my life right now. Everything hasn't turned out perfectly, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Obstacles have made me the strongest and healthiest I've been in a long time. A year can make a hell of a difference. Surrounding myself with positive and encouraging people have been extremely beneficial for my life. I didn't think I would make it this far and now I can't wait to see what my future holds! (still with the same roots though. Siisssss fix that shhh)"
