WWE News: Paige poses for a photo with Bullet Club member
What’s the story?
Bullet Club member Marty 'The Villain' Scurll has taken to social media so as to reveal a photograph of Paige and himself.
Apparently, after his recent meeting with Paige, Scurll teased also teased a potential "Villain Club”.
In case you didn’t know…
Paige is widely regarded as one of the best female professional wrestling performers to have competed in the sport.
Meanwhile, her countryman, British wrestler Marty Scurll, rose to prominence after breaking through in ROH back in 2016. Following which, Scurll joined Bullet Club in May of last year.
The heart of the matter
Paige and Marty Scurll have been friends for the past few years; having posted multiple photos with one another on social media. Fans can check out some of their older photographs below—
Regardless, Scurll has now posted a new photo of him with Paige, with the caption simply stating—“Villain Club? #villain”
What’s next?
The vast majority of professional wrestling experts believe that Paige’s in-ring career has indeed come to an end, owing to injury issues.
The former WWE Divas Champion suffered a serious neck injury after being kicked in the back by Sasha Banks, leading to severe whiplash, during a house show match in late-2017.
Meanwhile, Marty Scurll presently performs as a member of Bullet Club and, is considered to be one of the top prospects in the pro-wrestling business today. 'The Villain' primarily competes for ROH and NJPW, among other promotions.
Author’s take
Well, 'Villain Club' may not make reach its true potential without a high-profile valet/manager, would it? Perhaps that’s the angle Marty Scurll seems to be teasing with the subtle caption in his photo with Paige.
Nevertheless, with Paige likely to stay with the WWE in the months to come, fans may have to wait for a while before they get the opportunity to witness Paige join Bullet Club or Villain Club.
