WWE News: Paul Heyman challenges US Presidential candidate Donald Trump to a debate

Paul Heyman is a master of the microphone and apparently, isn’t afraid of proving it either

In his own words, Paul Heyman only deals in absolutes. And in his latest headline-grabbing effort, he once again stayed true to his reputation by not mincing his words one bit.

Heyman is scheduled to be in the UK next month, as part of three shows for Inside The Ropes. And the brilliant manager, who is no stranger when it comes to courting controversy, has laid out his intention to meet US Presidential candidate Donald Trump in the ring; not for a fight, but for a debate.

Donald Trump was in Scotland last week as a part of his two-day visit to the UK.

But Paul Heyman had asked Trump to extend his stay until the 15th of July, so that they could engage in a war of words at his Inside The Ropes appearance in Glasgow. While there was never a chance of the debate actually materialising, the witty Heyman did use the opportunity to market his UK tour.

Cleverly conceived ruse to attract attention or just marketing genius?

We say both!
