WWE News: Paul Heyman interested in working with other WWE Superstars?
In the beginning of August, it was reported that Paul Heyman had signed a new deal with WWE, thus carrying on his role as Brock Lesnar’s advocate. But, now it has been revealed that Heyman’s new deal calls for him to work more dates and that he’s also going to get more creative input whenever he’ll start working those dates.
Heyman who often pitches ideas to the company had pitched in an idea of him being the manager of Shinsuke Nakamura or Samoa Joe when they make their main roster debuts. It isn’t quite a revelation considering that Heyman loves to work with younger talent. It was because of Heyman’s genius that superstars such as the now retired WWE Superstar and WWE Hall of Fame Inductee Edge, Lucha Underground’s Rey Mysterio, and the now UFC fighter CM Punk got to be main eventers they were in the company. Even Curtis Axel, the member of the now-defunct group, the Social Outcasts was at one time a “Paul Heyman Guy” when he was the Intercontinental Champion
Superstars such as The Swiss Superman, Cesaro can get a massive push and a sort of a makeover, if he’s aligned with Heyman. Thus, Cesaro won’t have to worry about the promos and can focus solely on his in-ring work. Even Kevin Owens, who’s already over with the fans can push the level of promos with Heyman to new heights, and can be made into a solid main-eventer.
Also, with Heyman working side-by-side with Creative can bring some truly unique, and intense stories for the fans to enjoy. But, if Heyman wants to work with younger talent, what happens to Brock Lesnar? Will he go on some break? Well, Heyman was once an advocate for both Lesnar and CM Punk at the same time so maybe something will be worked out.
So, who do you think will be the new “Paul Heyman Guy”? Let use know by leaving your thoughts in the comments.
