What's the story?

WWE UK Champion, Pete Dunne, has been on an absolute roll not only on the NXT UK brand, but all over WWE, competing at the highest level against some of the best superstars of all time.

Having entered the Royal Rumble match earlier today, Pete Dunne marked another major accomplishment today, and in a recent post on Instagram, 'The Bruiserweight' commented on his Rumble appearance.

In case you didn't know...

Having won the WWE UK Championship off Tyler Bate at NXT TakeOver: Chicago, Pete Dunne has defended his title belt against some elite level superstars from around the world, in some of the well-renowned promotions on the Independent Circuit.

Dunne, who is currently coming off a huge title defense against Joe Coffey at the first ever NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool, now has his sights set on his next supposed challenger in the form of new NXT UK signee, Walter.

The heart of the matter

In his recent Instagram post, WWE UK Champion, Pete Dunne gave his thoughts on his first Royal Rumble debut, as he made his second main roster appearance in the process after having competed in a non-title Champion vs Champion match against Enzo Amore in 2017.

In his first Royal Rumble match, Pete Dunne lasted for well over 10 minutes before being eventually eliminated by Drew McIntyre.

'The Bruiserweight', shortly after his Rumble appearance took to his Twitter handle and posted a very touching post, where he looked back on his night in Chase Field, as he got to wrestle in front of a staggering 48,000 people as part of the WWE Universe, and compared it to his rather tougher days in the industry when he wrestled in front of just 2 people in his country of England.

Wrestled in the royal rumble in front of 48,000 people tonight. I once wrestled in front of 2 people in a field in England. Milestones probably
