WWE News: Randy Orton starts training in the WWE Performance Center
12-time WWE Champion Randy Orton was sidelined from the main roster of the WWE due to an injury he had suffered in October 2015. Although it was rumored that he will start training for his return in June, he hadn’t fully recovered to do so. Despite this situation, WWE started to advertise Randy Orton for the Live events in August, hinting that the Viper will be back in action very soon.
Earlier this month, Orton was confirmed as the opponent of Brock Lesnar for this year’s SummerSlam and this week on RAW, it was mentioned that he will appear as the guest for Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel in the upcoming Battleground pay-per-view.
The exact in-ring return date of Orton is yet to be confirmed but wrestlinginc.com reports that he is back at the WWE Performance Center. The Apex Preditor has started to train for his return to wrestling. His latest tweet confirms this news :

Before the injury, Orton was booked in a rivalry involving the Wyatt Family. That shoulder injury also prevented him from competing in his scheduled Hell in a Cell match. Battleground will mark his first appearance in WWE since last year.
