WWE News: Stephanie McMahon sends a tweet to her brother Shane McMahon ahead of Survivor Series
What's the story?
WWE RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon used Twitter today to stir the pot with SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon before their respective brands go head-to-head this Sunday at Survivor Series in multiple matches.

The Billion Dollar Princess declared 'may the best sibling win at Survivor Series this Sunday' between her and her brother Shane as she posted a cute picture of the pair as children.
In case you didn't know....
Before the brand split and WWE Draft in July 2016, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon made his two children Stephanie and Shane McMahon the on-air commissioner of RAW and SmackDown Live respectively.
Like last year's PPV, RAW and SmackDown Live are going up against each other in many different bouts at the stacked Survivor Series 2017 card.
The heart of the matter
In her tweet, Stephanie asked Shane 'what happened to us?', going on to state that they 'used to be so cute', referring to the photo of themselves as youngsters.
This was in comparison to them now. Shane and Stephanie are rivals with one another as they battle (at least on TV) to prove their respective brand is more superior than the other and to garner the respect of their father Vince through their successes (which seems to be more of a real life thing).
What's next?
The Survivor Series will take place on Sunday, the 19th of November, at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
Some matches on the main card include SD Live's US Champ Baron Corbin vs. RAW's Interconential Champion The Miz, RAW Tag Team Champs Sheamus and Cesaro vs. SD Live Tag Team Champs The Usos, RAW's The Shield vs. SmackDown's New Day in a six-man tag and RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss vs. SD Live Women's Champ Charlotte Flair.
The biggest three matches on the show are the women's Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown 5-on-5 Elimination Match, the men's Team RAW vs. SmackDown and the big Champion vs. Champion main event.
On Team RAW for the women's match is captain Alicia Fox, Nia Jax, Bayley, Sasha Banks and Asuka, whilst SmackDown Live have captain Becky Lynch, Tamina, Naomi, Carmella and a TBD person.
Then for the men's match, Team RAW has Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, the recently added and returning Triple H and the general manager of the brand Kurt Angle as the captain. On Team SmackDown is captain Shane McMahon, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Roode, Randy Orton and the 16-time World Champion John Cena.
The main event bout is RAW Universal Champion Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman) vs. new WWE Champion AJ Styles in what is a first time ever square off between the two.
As noted, Shane will captain the men's Team SmackDown in the 5-on-5 Elimination match at Survivor Series against RAW, whilst Stephanie will be cheering on Team RAW, which includes her husband Triple H.
Author's take
I have always enjoyed Stephanie and Shane going at on screen because it has always a sense of legitimacy, especially with a rumoured tense relationship between Stephanie's husband HHH and Shane-O.
However, Stephanie's tweet is what is wrong with the WWE today in my opinion, and it is something that the likes of RAW Tag Team ChapionCesaro have pointed out before.
The Survivor Series PPV and every other WWE show should be more about the performers, but as per usual, the two McMahons are making themselves centre-stage again, with Shane being the captain of the men's Team SD Live and Stephanie returning to RAW just before Survivor Series.
Despite this, I do enjoy the two going back-and-forth against each other like all siblings do.
I am really excited for Survivor Series. With how the card is looking, it should be WWE's best event of 2017.
