WWE News: Raw Superstar returns after viral illnessĀ
What's the story?
On this week's Monday Night RAW, The Miz and Curtis Axel were reunited with their missing Miztourage member Bo Dallas. It had been reported that Dallas was backstage and awaiting tests to see if he could be cleared to compete, but he evidently was, as he was shown several times throughout the evening.
In case you didn't know...
Bo Dallas, Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns were all taken off of WWE television due to a viral illness, believed to have been mumps. The trio missed Raw's pay-per-view TLC 2017 and were also absent for last week's RAW.
The heart of the matter
Bo Dallas was the first person reportedly affected by the viral illness to return to WWE television; Roman Reigns is allegedly week's away from recovery, and Bray Wyatt was reportedly backstage at RAW but not used.
Dallas, alongside Curtis Axel, accompanied The Miz to the arena and later helped the Intercontinental Champion defend his title against Matt Hardy. Their night didn't end there, though, as Braun Strowman would return to terrorise The Miz, Dallas and Axel, with Axel ending up on the receiving end of four Running Powerslams.
What's next?
It looks like Braun Strowman, who made his dramatic entrance via the back of a trash compactor, will be seeking revenge against those who wronged him at TLC 2017, which means that Dallas might just be in the clear.
Author's take
Bo Dallas is hardly a crucial part of Monday Night Raw, but it's good to see him back nonetheless. The Miztourage have been a welcome addition to The Miz's heel persona and have helped to elevate him to one of the most entertaining Superstars the WWE currently has.
