WWE News: Raw Women's Championship match announced for WrestleMania
Alexa Bliss has held the Raw Women's Championship since August 2017 when she managed to defeat Sasha Banks to win back the title that she had lost just a week before. Despite holding the title for more than 200 days, it seems that Bliss' biggest test could come at WrestleMania.
Many members of the WWE Universe were offended last week when Bliss talked openly about her real feelings towards her longtime friend Nia Jax and it seems that Jax herself took all of this to heart as she ran out and attacked Bliss following her count-out loss to Asuka this week on Raw.
Of course, the Raw Women's Champion wasn't impressed that her former friend was able to get the upper hand against her, so she went to Raw General Manager Kurt Angle in the hopes that he would rectify the situation.
Angle did what he thought was best given the way that Jax was humiliated by Mickie James and Alexa last week on Raw, when he informed Bliss that she would be defending her Women's Championship against Nia Jax on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
This isn't the first time Bliss has taken on Nia, but this will be the first time the duo have faced each other when they are at odds and given the way Bliss humiliated Jax last week, it would be a fantastic way for Jax to get one over on her former friend, if she's able to take away the one thing that she holds most dear.
Alexa Bliss is already the longest reigning Raw Women's Champion in the short history of the Championship, but it seems that her reign could be coming to an end in less than three weeks time when she steps in the ring against The Irresistible Force in both of these women's first ever singles match at WrestleMania.
