WWE News: Ric Flair will be missing yet another Live event
WWE had already announced that Ric Flair will be absent from ringside during the Women’s Championship match at WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view, where his daughter Charlotte will defend her championship against Natalya in a Submission Match. Ric Flair was also absent from ringside in the last episode of RAW and has been missing a few WWE Live Events.
Allwrestlingnews.com confirmed today that, for the second week in a row, the 2 time WWE Hall of Famer will be missing weekend Live Events. It is interesting to note that he has not been advertised for the shows that will take place in his home state, North Carolina, either.
Beside appearing for RAWs and SmackDowns, the 16 time World Champion hasn’t appeared at a single WWE Live Event since April 27th, after the incident at Logan International Airport in Boston.
Ric Flair was spotted to act obnoxious and loud in Logan airport that day. It seemed that he was drunk. Later on, it was revealed that he had a cut on his head which was the reason behind his strange behavior in the airport. The medics confirmed that he was not drunk at all and was allowed in the flight. A witness had reported, "It was dripping down from his head to his neck. A significant amount of blood."
