WWE News: Roman Reigns' return date revealed
There are just three days to go for Roman Reigns’ suspension to end and all bias aside, there’s a deafening portion of the IWC that has its head cocked for the moment the Shield’s music will ring out through the arena.
While many have presumed that this moment will come at Battleground, it appears as though it will come earlier than expected.
The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion is scheduled to appear in the WWE Live Event in Wildwoods Convention Center, Wildwoods, New Jersey, this Saturday. Reigns was suspended for a Wellness Policy violation on June 21st .
It is rumored that the substance behind the censure is amphetamines. There were reports that Reigns also tested positive for marijuana, but that kind of violation is punishable with a $1000 fine.
“The guy” might not enjoy as much of the spotlight as he did before the suspension, with the interwebz abuzz with talk of Vince McMahon being so furious with Reigns that he’s seriously considering making Seth Rollins and AJ Styles the new faces of RAW and SmackDown.
Reigns and John Cena were presumed frontrunners to be the marquee attractions on each show, but that was before the failed drug test and Cena’s windfall of mainstream media gigs.
