WWE News: Roman Reigns returned to WWE RAW with an emotional announcement

This week's episode of WWE RAW saw former WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns return to the company and open the show to make an announcement. It was announced the previous week that he was set to come back on this week's episode, and for the entire week the fans hyped up his return with theories about why he was returning.
Roman Reigns made the heartfelt announcement about his condition, which left the WWE Universe giving him a standing ovation.

WWE's 'Big Dog' Roman Reigns made a huge announcement on the 22nd of October, 2018 ahead of WWE Crown Jewel. He had been booked to appear at the show, but the announcement he made on that episode of WWE RAW saw the entire picture of WWE change for good.
Roman Reigns announced that he had been living with cancer. 11 years ago he had been suffering from cancer, and it had gone into remission, but it had returned. He had been diagnosed with Leukaemia and needed to take time away from the ring to deal with it.
Fans were not sure if they were ever going to see the Big Dog inside a WWE ring again.

The heart of the matter
Roman Reigns came out to a raucous crowd who were more than happy to see him return to WWE, as they chanted "This is your yard."
Roman Reigns announced that he had promised the WWE Universe that he would swing for the fences and that was exactly what he had done, and what he had achieved was far better than could be expected.
In what was possibly the most emotional announcement in WWE for a long, long time, Roman Reigns let the fans know that he was in remission and that the "The Big Dog" was back.
He ended by saying that he loved the fans, as they stood and gave him a standing ovation.
When he was making his way to the back, he was greeted by former Shield-mate, Seth Rollins, who came out to hug him as well.

Roman Reigns has announced that he has now returned to WWE. He will be using the platform of WWE to raise awareness about Cancer, and it is only a matter of time now before the WWE Universe see him back in a WWE ring.
