WWE News: Ronda Rousey expected for Monday Night Raw

What will she do next?
What will she do next?

What’s the story?

Last week on Monday Night Raw, Ronda Rousey promised Commissioner Stephanie McMahon that their problems weren’t over and it looks like we may witness another confrontation between them this week.

Rousey is in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is expected to appear on Monday Night Raw per PWInsider.

In case you didn’t know...

Rousey and McMahon’s issues originated at WrestleMania 31, when Rousey and The Rock confronted McMahon and Triple H.

Rousey would make her debut as a WWE Superstar at the Royal Rumble and signed her WWE contract at the Elimination Chamber PPV, after attacking Triple H and being slapped by McMahon.

The heart of the matter

The following is from WWE’s preview for the March 5th edition of Raw regarding the tension between Rousey, Angle, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon:

After Ronda Rousey forced Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon to apologize for slapping her at WWE Elimination Chamber, Triple H laid out Raw General Manager Kurt Angle with a cheap shot that left The Olympic Hero laid out on the mat.
Following the altercation, Rousey took to social media to remind Stephanie and The Game that “This is far from over,” hinting that retribution for their actions was forthcoming.
Whatever Rousey does next, you won’t want to miss it.

The situation between Rousey and McMahon seemed as if it wasn’t going to be addressed at the Elimination Chamber, but Kurt Angle stoked the flames by revealing comments made by Triple H and McMahon, behind Rousey's back.

After Triple H was put through a table by the former UFC Bantamweight Champion, McMahon asked Angle to apologize but was instead confronted by a visibly angered Rousey.

The situation seemed to be deescalating, but Triple H landed a cheap shot on Angle before leaving the ring.

What’s next?

The storyline between Rousey and McMahon is expected to be booked similar to Vince McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin, so expect to see a lot more of both women heading into WrestleMania and for things to get more physical.

Author’s take

Stephanie takes most of her bumps at WrestleMania, but if her feud with Rousey is expected to be similar to Vince-Austin, then she should probably get an early comeuppance - but that seems highly unlikely.
