WWE News: Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle vs. Triple H & Stephanie McMahon announced for WrestleMania

ITS ON NOW!
It's on now!

WWE Raw kicked off with a monumental announcement for WrestleMania 34 as Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey will take on Triple H & Stephanie McMahon in a mixed tag team match.

Angle came to the ring to call out Triple H but was instead confronted by McMahon, who continued her trend of emasculating her employees.

Rousey would come to the ring smiling and would shock McMahon by announcing her intention to fight her at WrestleMania.

Triple H came down to the ring to try and diffuse the situation, but Angle made some changes to Rousey's match by announcing that all four individuals would compete in a mixed tag team match next month in New Orleans.

A brawl ensued after this announcement and resulted in Rousey finally getting her hands on McMahon and laying the Raw Commissioner out with a Samoan Drop — a move that could potentially be her finisher going forward.

Samoan Drops are typically used as transition moves, but the way the camera focused on Rousey as she hit the Drop suggest that the move was supposed to be significant.

Rousey issues with McMahon originated at WrestleMania 31 when Rousey and The Rock confronted McMahon and Triple H.

Since that time, Rousey made continual appearances at WWE events and eventually made the transition from MMA to professional wrestling with her debut at the Royal Rumble.

Rousey made her second pay-per-view appearance at the Elimination Chamber to sign her contract but ended up attacking Triple H and chasing off McMahon before putting her name on the dotted line.

The following week, Rousey demanded an apology from McMahon and got a disingenuous one just before Triple H sucker punched Angle.

This is the first non-title match to be announced for WrestleMania 34.
