WWE News: Ronda Rousey named Executive Producer for new CW Television show

As being reported by Deadline, WWE Superstar “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey has been named as an Executive Producer for a new CW Television Show: “Strong Girl”.
The series is currently being developed by writer Melissa Scrivener-Love, known for her work on "Fear The Walking Dead".

In Case You Didn’t Know
Ronda Rousey is not only a former UFC World Champion, MMA extraordinaire and current WWE Superstar and RAW Women’s Champion, but she has also acted in different films and television shows since 2011.
She voiced the character “Luna” in “The Expendables 3”. “Furious 7” (or “Fast and the Furious 7”) in a supporting role portraying the character “Kara”.
More recently, she guest starred in the TV series: “Blindspot” and also the movie “Mile 22” portraying the character of “Sam Snow”. Mile 22 also starred Mark Wahlberg (“Planet of the Apes”, “Renascence Man”) and Lauren Cohan (“The Walking Dead”).
The Heart of the Matter
This will mark Ronda’s first Executive Producing role in her film/television career. “Strong Girl” tells the story of a former Korean war photographer named “Rayna” who discovers she is the strongest woman in the world and is virtually indestructible.
She reveals her new powers to her fiancé, who is apart of Spec Ops. Rayna becomes a bodyguard for a billionaire named “Oliver”. He uses Rayna to her full potential.
What’s Next?
“Rowdy” Ronda Rousey is currently set to challenge SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at the Survivor Series on November 18th.
This will be a “Champion vs Champion” match for bragging rights. Ronda Rousey is representing Monday Night RAW while Becky Lynch is representing SmackDown Live. We will find out who is truly “The Baddest Woman On The Planet”.
