Rousey has hit back!

What's the story?

It's been one of the biggest stories of the week, if not the year, in WWE. Becky Lynch, possibly the hottest Superstar in WWE right now when it comes to both momentum and fan reaction, taking Monday Night Raw by storm - but getting injured in the process.

Last night, the SmackDown Women's Champion was forced to withdraw from her match at Survivor Series due to injury and pick a replacement to face off against Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey.

In case you didn't know...

This week on RAW, SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch assaulted Ronda Rousey backstage before orchestrating an ambush on the RAW Women's Team ahead of Survivor Series. Lynch was left bloodied in the midst of a brawl and it was confirmed on last night's SmackDown that the blue brand's Women's Champion had a major concussion and a broken face - and would no longer be able to compete.

After an emotional promo in front of the entire women's roster where Lynch expressed her anger about the events of Monday night, the SmackDown Women's Champion confirmed that Charlotte Flair would take her place on Sunday at Survivor Series - facing off against Ronda Rousey.

The heart of the matter

Ronda Rousey has today spoken out for the first time about Becky Lynch's injury and subsequent forced withdrawal from Survivor Series, posting a screenshot of her former fellow UFC fighter Nate Diaz saying, "If you can't make it to the war, you lose the war" - jabbing at Lynch for being unable to compete.

It was Rousey's additional comments, though, that rubbed salt in the wounds, taking aim at Lynch for being unable to take a punch to the face.

Rousey also pointed towards a future singles match, as well as hinting at a Four Horsewomen vs Four Horsewomen feud in the Instagram post.

@beckylynchwwe I’m really sorry to hear The Millennial Man will not be showing up for her legally arranged ass whooping on November 18th at the Staples Center. Unfortunately now everyone knows if someone hauls off and punches you for real, your face implodes. I suggest you keep practicing your tough guys faces in the mirror, should be very effective physical therapy. And have fun watching Korean soap operas on Netflix or whatever the hell the Millennial Man does with her free time. Don’t worry I’m not the back stabbing cheap shotting ambushing cowardly type, so you’re perfectly safe to take your time and heal up until your figurative balls have dropped and you’re finally ready to for your comeuppance. I want you 100% healed up, prepared, and looking me in the eye when the bell rings. Lemmie know when you’re done healing your boo boos and ready for me to serve you your ass on a silver platter with your avocado toast. I do have to admit, The Millennial Man is stunningly conniving. She poked the bear and ran like a bat outta hell when the bear awoke - Feeding me her favorite frienemy and fellow #FAUXhorsewoman @charlottewwe is a new level of manipulative cowardice, even for The Millennial Man. @charlottewwe is a Superfight and I've always wanted to fight her - but she's just the stand in for the beating @beckylynchwwe has coming to her this Sunday. I’ll be sending The Champ a choice piece of Charlotte as a souvenir🖕🏼 #RondaVsCharlotte #SurvivorSeries #Nov18 #4hourswomenVSfauxhorsewomen
