WWE News: Ronda Rousey's Championship Match announced for WWE TLC
WWE Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey is set to defend her Championship in the upcoming WWE pay-per-view, WWE TLC.
On this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE made her title match at TLC official, announcing that she would be facing former WWE Raw Women's Champion, Nia Jax.
The two women are definitely not strangers as they have met previously in the WWE ring. Rousey received her first-ever title shot in WWE when she faced Nia Jax at Money in the Bank. While she was not able to win the Championship on that occasion due to an interference by Alexa Bliss, Rousey had been minutes away from locking in the Armbar.
Rousey found herself in trouble at WWE Survivor Series, when she was facing Charlotte Flair. While the match saw both women take part in an extremely competitive matchup, things changed very quickly. Charlotte Flair suddenly snapped and used two kendo sticks and a steel chair to beat up Ronda Rousey.
Rousey was left beaten and bruised in the centre of the ring after Charlotte was done with her, as she held nothing back in this sudden rage-filled attack. After the attack, Rousey was just able to walk out on her own strength.
On this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, Ronda Rousey came out to prove to herself and the audience that she was worthy of being Champion. She issued an open challenge to anyone in the locker room, going so far as to ask Corbin if he wanted to face her, when he came out to say that she could not have the match.
Eventually, she defended her title in a match against Mickie James and forced her to tap out to the Armbar.
Rousey is now set to defend her title against Nia Jax at WWE TLC.
