WWE News: Rosemary lashes out about Woman's Royal Rumble, Sister Abigail Comparisons
What's the story?
The Women's Revolution in WWE has created quite a stir of late, across the wrestling world. With many superstars from Impact Wrestling coming to WWE, fans have been urging former Knockouts Champion Rosemary, to be a part of the Women's Royal Rumble match.
They've also been persistent in their request to have her show up as Sister Abigail, Bray Wyatt's mysterious spirit figure. Rosemary took to Twitter and spoke her mind.
In case you didn't know...
The Impact Wrestling roster maintains that the real Women's Revolution began with the Knockouts.
In an industry that is controlled by a monopoly, with WWE at top of the food chain, the Knockouts are a proud bunch who've carried their division to new heights, against all odds.
Rosemary is perhaps the most popular Knockout in Impact Wrestling right now, considering that a large portion of the audience dresses up like her, during their tapings.
The heart of the matter
Because of her dark character, fans have often equated Rosemary's gimmick with that of Bray Wyatt's demonic sister/alter ego. So much so, that it's really gotten on her nerves, from the looks of it.
Rosemary spoke out about wanting to stay in Impact Wrestling and not moving to WWE, through social media. She also urged her fans to check out her work in Impact Wrestling instead, as an alternative to WWE.
The Knockouts are a close-knit unit, and they're very proud of their collective.
Of course, fans will be fans and such cringe-worthy comments followed:
What's next?
Rosemary is staying put, outside the WWE. She will look to carry the Knockouts Division to new heights. We're certain that she'll remain a crowd favourite for a very long time.
Author's take
I quite agree with Rosemary. Far too often, we tell our favourite wrestlers what to do, instead of sitting back and enjoying the show, as we all should.
Social media, for all its benefits, is also a curse.
