Also, in one of the most unfortunate stories of the day, a top superstar has suffered an ACL injury and is likely to be out of action for the foreseeable future. So without further ado, let's check it out and more:
#1. Seth Rollins returns
After a few weeks on the sidelines, Seth Rollins returned to WWE programming on RAW last night as he attacked Bronson Reed during his match against Braun Strowman. Rollins helped Strowman win the match after delivering a stomp on the steel steps to Reed.
Seth Rollins was last seen on RAW after SummerSlam where he was attacked by Bronson Reed. The powerhouse made a statement at The Visionary's expense as he left him coughing blood.
#2. Uncle Howdy seemingly chooses a new victim
The Wyatt Sicks' feud with American Made is now over. However, it seems like Uncle Howdy has no desire to rest as he sent a cryptic message on RAW, hinting at a new rivalry. A mysterious figure was seen in the background during Sami Zayn's backstage segment and many believe that the former Bloodline member could be the faction's next target.
Sami Zayn will be in action next week where he will challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. It could be a perfect opportunity for Uncle Howdy should he decide to go after the Underdog from the Underground.
#3. Roman Reigns namedropped on WWE RAW
The rivalry with Roman Reigns was a major turning point in Jey Uso's career as fans got to see a different side of the multi-time tag team champion. However, the two have been kept off each other's paths for the last year, with Jey now being a part of RAW while the rest of The Bloodline is on SmackDown.
The Yeetman namedropped The OTC on RAW last night during his promo. Jey stated that Roman Reigns made things difficult for him but he has finally overcome all the adversities to become a singles champion in WWE.
#4. Ilja Dragunov is injured
It was revealed on Monday Night RAW that Ilja Dragunov suffered an injury last weekend and has torn his ACL. The Mad Dragon is slated to be out of action for six to nine months.
Dragunov was in action at Sunday's WWE SuperShow where he faced Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. In addition to coming up short against the Ring General, Dragunov also suffered an ACL injury.
