WWE News Roundup: Major superstar will allegedly never wrestle again, Rising star on working with Randy Orton, Becky Lynch praised

Welcome to another edition of WWE News Roundup, where we cover all the exciting stories making rounds in the world of World Wrestling Entertainment. Today, we will look at topics around Becky Lynch and Randy Orton, among others.

We will also check out the preview of this week's WWE RAW as the build-up for Bad Blood Premium Live Event continues. So without wasting any further time, let's begin.

#1. WWE RAW preview

WWE has advertised multiple matches for this week's Season Premiere episode of Monday Night RAW. Zelina Vega and Lyra Valkyria will team up with a mystery partner to take on the Pure Fusion Collective (Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler, and Zoey Stark).

The Wyatt Sicks will be in action as they take on the American Made in Eight Person Mixed Tag Team Street Fight. The finals of the Intercontinental Championship number one contender's tournament will also take place tonight on WWE RAW, as Jey Uso, Braun Strowman, Ilja Dragunov, and Pete Dunne will battle in a Fatal Four-Match.

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are also in action as they are set to defend their Women's Tag Team Championship against The Unholy Union. Aside from the matches, WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart is also announced for the show in Calgary, Alberta, Canada

#2. WWE veteran Dutch Mantell believes Batista will never wrestle again

Batista retired from in-ring competition in 2019 after losing to Triple H at WrestleMania 35. While many veterans have returned from retirement, The Animal made it clear that he intends to stay off the squared circle.

Wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell recently shared his thoughts on the same, noting that he does not see Batista coming out of retirement.

"I think he [Batista] has a little bit of credibility with the fans and if he says he's not gonna have another one I don't think he's gonna have another one. So if he's happy with that, I'm happy with him, and people can look back on his career and that's his last match and be pleased with it and happy with it."

#3. Current WWE star praises Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch is one of the most decorated female WWE stars of all time. Aside from entertaining the pro wrestling world for over a decade, The Man has also helped several up-and-coming stars.

One of those names is Lyra Valkyria, who recently reflected on the advice she received from the former Women's World Champion. Speaking on a recent episode of Causal Conversation with The Classic, the former NXT Women's Champion said:

"Becky's [Lynch] biggest thing is always like embracing who you are and being confident in what you bring to the table and her telling me to be confident in what I bring to the table and feeling like what she sees what I bring to the table, obviously inspires me and motivates me a lot," she said.

Becky Lynch put over Lyra Valkyria in a huge way last year as she dropped the NXT Women's Championship to the rising star. The Man is currently on a hiatus from in-ring action. Valkyria currently competes on RAW and is feuding with the Pure Fusion Collective.

#4. Carmelo Hayes on working with Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes

After getting Drafted to SmackDown earlier this year, Carmelo Hayes quickly established himself as a prominent star. The former NXT Champion has already worked with many veterans on the main roster, including Randy Orton, and Cody Rhodes.

The young star also talked about how working with Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes helped him settle on the blue brand.

"There's so many guys up there that I've got to work with, Cody [Rhodes] and Randy [Orton], and things like that that have taught me that there are so many different levels to this game and there's levels that I would have never knew if I wasn't in the ring with those guys. So it's been an amazing process and I'm just getting started really and I'm looking forward to see what's next."

Carmelo Hayes is currently embroiled in a feud with Andrade on SmackDown. The duo are 2-2 in four matches between them so far, with the winner of the fifth match likely to receive a United States Championship match.

Both stars interrupted LA Knight this past Friday on SmackDown. After a back-and-forth between all three stars, the segment ended with The Megastar hitting a BFT on Andrade and Hayes.
