WWE News Roundup: Prominent superstar announces that he has officially left the company, Drew McIntyre to return next week, Brock Lesnar's photo
On this week's Sportskeeda Wrestling's WWE News Roundup, we bring you some of the top stories making rounds in the world of pro wrestling. In today's piece, we will talk about Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre, among others.
Also, another departure has taken place recently as a top superstar revealed that he's no longer a part of the company. On that note, let's begin without any further delay.
#1. Rhea Ripley is back
The Money in the Bank fallout edition of Monday Night RAW saw Rhea Ripley make her much-awaited return to WWE programming. Mami was on the shelf for a couple of months due to a shoulder injury.
Rhea came out after Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio's victory over Zelina Vega and Rey Mysterio. While the Women's World Champion ran away from The Eradicator, Dirty Dom had to come face-to-face with Mami.
#2. Brock Lesnar sighting amid WWE hiatus
Brock Lesnar has been away from the squared circle since SummerSlam last year. While The Beast Incarnate has maintained a low profile amid his hiatus, he was recently spotted in a public place with a fan. The picture has been making rounds on social media.
Brock Lesnar has been attending his daughter's games in his WWE absence. The Beast Incarnate was slated to return at Royal Rumble earlier this year but his return plans were nixed after he was seemingly referenced in the lawsuit against Vince McMahon.
#3. NXT star has left WWE
NXT Superstar Damon Kemp is no longer a part of the company. The 25-year-old announced his departure on X/Twitter, noting that he's open for bookings.
Kemp, real name Bobby Steveson, joined the global juggernaut in 2021 along with his brother Steve Gableson. While Steve was the more hyped signing, Bobby ended up being featured on TV programming more. The Olympian was also released from his contract a couple of months back.
#4. Drew McIntyre will appear on RAW next week
Drew McIntyre was suspended for raising his hands on Adam Pearce following the Money in the Bank debacle. However, the RAW General Manager stated on RAW that he would be calling The Scottish Warrior to the red brand next week to discuss things.
CM Punk, the man who has cost McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship on multiple occasions, was present on the flagship program last night. Punk explained his actions at Money in the Bank and was also involved in a verbal war with Seth Rollins.
