WWE News Roundup - Rhea Ripley reunites with partner following split, Bayley makes history, Cody Rhodes on The Rock

It has been a stacked week in WWE, with the new Women's United States Championship Tournament getting underway, and The Bloodline storyline adding more layers to the saga. Some big superstars are also making headlines outside of the ring.

So without further ado, let's take a look at some of the biggest stories from the world of WWE:

#4. Liv Morgan names her dream opponent

Liv Morgan recently made an appearance at ComplexCon. At the event, she was asked to choose a superstar she would love to face from the past or present. The current Women's World Champion revealed that Chyna would be her choice because she believes that they would have a good dynamic.

"I would love to wrestle Chyna,” Liv said.

She also noted that their size difference would be an interesting factor.

#3. Cody Rhodes addresses The Rock potentially not competing at WWE WrestleMania 41

The Rock is expected to be part of WrestleMania 41 and a major addition to The Bloodline story, but it seems that this isn't yet written in stone. Cody Rhodes was recently able to open up about The Rock potentially not appearing at WrestleMania. While speaking to Adrian Hernandez at the aforementioned ComplexCon, Rhodes said:

“Well, I mean, I mean this and I don’t mean this in a like a smart Alec type way, but Rock is the director of the board. The man that is The Final Boss, Dwayne Johnson, is different from The Final Boss and his outside the box thinking with Nick Khan and Triple H, is part of WWE’s record era, part of this WWE Netflix era."

Rhodes added:

“Whether he’s in the ring or whether he’s not, he very much is still very involved with what happens at 41. I know when he comes back, I know who he’ll come looking for, I know what to expect. But what I can say about WrestleMania 41 is keep the rumors going, keep them churning, enjoy the discourse, but I think what you will get will surprise you all.” [H/T: ITR Wrestling]

#2. Bayley makes history

Bayley won her triple threat match on SmackDown this week to advance in the Women's United States Championship tournament. However, it seems like en route to this win, Bayley made history.

As noted on social media, this win means that The Role Model is now tied with Natalya for the most wins as a female superstar in WWE with 684.

#1. Rhea Ripley reunites with partner following split

Just weeks after announcing their split, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest reunited outside of the WWE ring. The two stars were spotted at UFC 309 last night. The Terror Twins shared a video to document their reunion whilst also noting how hyped they were for the upcoming show.

Ripley is currently sidelined with a facial injury whilst Priest is the number one contender to Gunther's World Championship on RAW.
