Welcome to the WWE News Roundup, which brings you the latest and hottest in the wrestling world. As always, today's edition is set to be stacked.

A WWE star is taking a hiatus from the company and has bid farewell, while Mandy Rose has made a huge announcement. Tiffany Stratton has found herself in controversy, and Rhea Ripley has replied to Buddy Murphy taking a shot at an ex-WWE star.

With all this, let's take a look at what's happening.

Rhea Ripley replies to Buddy Murphy's shot at an ex-WWE star

Rhea Ripley is currently out of action but has kept tabs on what her real-life partner is doing in AEW. The star was part of an attack on Edge by the House of Black, leaving him in the middle of the ring.

Murphy referred to how Ripley, Damian Priest, and Finn Balor had also taken him out previously, saying that Edge's weakness was groups of three stars.

Ripley immediately responded with an emoji of devil horns, making it clear that she found her former foe getting hurt amusing.

Tiffany Stratton controversy

Tiffany Stratton has become the subject of controversy. The star apparently posted a fan-made video on her Instagram story showing her hitting Cargill during their match. Unfortunately, the voiceover also insulted Cargill in politically incorrect terms.

Fans called her out on social media, leading Stratton to delete the video. In addition, fake news circulated that she was not going to be in the SmackDown match anymore, as WWE had canceled it and was no longer advertising it.

This was false, as she continued being advertised for the match. However, it remains to be seen if she will face any repercussions at all for what appears to be a potential misunderstanding.

Asuka is taking a hiatus from WWE

Asuka is taking a hiatus from the company. She let fans know that she had been working with an injury for a long time. She went through the European tour with it and thanked Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane for helping her.

She posted a picture with Sane and Shinsuke Nakamura on her Instagram, saying, "See you again." She was bidding farewell until she could recover and return to the ring.
